Customizable Quest Sharing

CONTEXT
Horizon is a social metaverse that enables VR users to connect with new and old friends in an embodied virtual space. Family groups enable up to 6 users of all ages to easily manage accounts, share apps, and play together in Horizon, across multiple shared headsets.
PROBLEM
Children and teens without their own payment methods lack buying power; to purchase an app, children, teens, and their parents have to endure a complicated, multi-step buying process. This stifles app purchases, which has a downstream impact on both revenue and engagement.
SOLUTION
I led the creation of a shared family payment method. We want to empower children and teens to buy the apps they love while maintaining parental control, transparency, and peace of mind.
